Community Preschool looks for opportunities to be active in our local community. Looking back the last couple of years, our preschoolers have visited Bethany Home and sang songs, created projects, put puzzles together, sculpted with play dough, and worked side by side with the nursing home residents in putting small manipulatives together. The last few springs we have planted flowers with the Master Gardeners by the Douglas County Library. This year we have been able to create Christmas cards for First Lutheran Church members that are homebound or just needed a little magic in their season.

We are really excited about our new community project. This month we have once again teamed up with Thrivent to collect new teddy bears for the local North Ambulance Department. WE CARE TEDDY BEARS We have set a goal of collecting 75 teddy bears for the Paramedics, EMTs and First Responders to have on hand when they are needed to assist a child with injuries or a child that is with a person in need of assistance from the wonderful ambulance staff. We hope to exceed our goal!!!!
